Eggnog Lace Tallit

Regular price $255.00 Sale

The Eggnog Lace Tallit is beautifully and uniquely handcrafted from the softest patterned lace. This tallit is made from a net lace with just a bit of stretch, to give it durability. It features a stunning rolled bridal veil edge, and an atarah (neckband) of cotton overlaid on metallic gold to 'peek through' the embroidered squares. The bottom ends are finished with exquisite Venetian lace fringe, tea-stained by hand to a perfectly antiqued compliment.

I use only Rabbinically-approved tzitzit strings from Israel, anchored at the corners by an embroidered medallion, to protect the surrounding lace. The tzitzit at all four corners of this tallit are hand-tied according to halakhah (Jewish law) in the Ashkenazi pattern (reminding us of the 613 mitzvot).

This tallit measures 66" in length (not including the fringe or tzitzit). This is a perfect fit for a woman or teen. If you need a more generous fit, please let me know via convo after purchase.

Custom embroidery is available on any tallit or tallit bag, for an additional fee. To substitute a dupioni silk atarah (instead of the ribbon atarah shown), embroidered with the tzitzit blessing, in the colors or your choice, there is a $50 materials & embroidery fee.

Please remember that each item is handmade to order (by a real, live American artisan, not mass-manufactured in a sweatshop), so you'll need to allow up to four weeks for your creation (not including transit time). If you are in a hurry, please convo me in advance, as I may be able to accommodate (an additional fee will apply for rearranging workload). Each tallit is a one of a kind, heirloom piece, handmade in my home studio (and may vary ever so slightly in threads or trims, according to availability, but will always reflect the listing photos). It is designed to be worn with pride, and to last a lifetime, if handled properly.

A coordinating dupioni silk tallit bag (with matching trim) is available as an add-on for $35 (name embroidery in Hebrew and/or English available upon request. Adds $25).

I ship all tallitot Priority Mail (except rush orders), with insurance.
